I was diagnosed with congenital hearing impairment but managed without hearing aids until my hearing deteriorated further with age (I’m now in my early 60s). I live in the UK and was prescribed Oticon Engage 85 on the NHS just over 3 years ago. I need them for my work but find them uncomfortable and extremely irritating (to say the least). I’ve joined this group to learn more about how to overcome the difficulties I’m having and looking for advice regarding private hearing aids.
