I'm an Electrical Engineer who became hearing impaired in college, which is why I became a dispenser 30+ years ago.

My degree is a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (co-operative) from Georgia Tech, class of 1988.

My areas of specialty include hearing aid and assistive device engineering and dispensing, architectural and classroom acoustic engineering, loudspeaker & audio system design & engineering, and industrial noise monitoring and remediation engineering.

I am also the editor at The Hearing Blog, where I discuss the latest research into hearing loss, especially related to auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder (ANSD), cochlear implants, and communication systems engineering.
