Where to purchase equipment

Continuing the discussion from Hearing in a noisy environment:

I have always felt that if I had the equipment, I could adjust my aids to work, but to relate to someone else to make the adjustment is a never-ending battle.
I have asked to have my own equipment but to no avail. I think it is a control thing audiologists have. Where to buy the software and equipment is the question.

You want to post in the DIY forum to get the answer. Read a bit there and you’ll find links to resources to help fill in the gaps!

It’s freely available, both here and on eBay, all you need is the software and hardware and your away. What models do you use at the moment?

Don’t Pay for Free fitting software. Just click any PVC Avatar for DIY School access.

Starkey Livio 2400 I am looking at getting something with true directional though, like Phonak Luminty or Resound Omni’s.

Be careful about model selection for Phonak Lumity because the new software enhancements for that platform are only available in the Premium/L90 model.
