The test is tympanometry with screening acoustic reflexes. There was very little movement on the eardrum in both ears with the middle ear funtion test, and there were some screening reflexes preent in the right ear. Being a screening test and not knowing whether the test was repeatable makes it hard to say. Usually this test is used as part of a complete test battery including pure tone air and bone conduction audiometry and otoscopic examination to determine a probable diagnosis. It would however suggest possible fluid in the middle ears bases on the tymp results, but then reflexes should have been absent, which they aren’t in the right ear.
