Hopefully you have Phonak/Unitron CS44a cables which have cable-pins 3&4 reversed versus the standard CS44 cables 
If you don’t, just buy mini-DIN extension cables for a few bucks. The info to cross some wires is somewhere on the forum. (It also extends the life of the Hi-Pro cables.)
