Hi
I have ther new Jabra pro 20s and with the latest app update i can no longer pair my TV Streamer 2 with these aids. In fact the only option i have is to pair the TV Streamer +. There is no longer an option to pair the older streamer.
Is anyone else having this issue? See pic for my pairing options now after update…

The older TV Streamer 2 pairs through the hearing aids only and not the app.

Here are the older instructions:

Note however that Step 2 needs to be changed with the Jabra Enhance Pro 20 Smart Charger.

Put the hearing aids in the case and close the lid. Open the lid and take the Hearing Aids out and put them near the TV Streamer 2. The HAs are now in paring mode.

Proceed to the next step and put the TV Streamer 2 into pairing mode. (With 1 or possibly 2 presses if the TV Streamer+ is already in the first slot.)

I hope this helps.

It has always worked thru the app prior to the last update. Jabra admits there is an error and the app no longer supports any other streamer than the new one. Total fail.
I have to many issues with these aids. Besides this tv issue, bt is just pitiful. I cant rely on them at all. At least my old aids connect when i need them to, but these are total hit or miss. I had an important phine conversation and could not get the call to stream into my aids no matter what i tried. These aids seemed to work well fornthe first month, but after the latest update the connectivity is crap. A $10 set of bt headphones works better than these for some odd reason. I guess i have to return them and wait for the 9050 to hit. Never will buy Jabra/Resound again. Oh, and their support sucks, no help at all and rude on top.

On the good news front they should be out ASAP. I heard on another thread that they should be out today. So not much of a long wait for you. Good luck in your future with hearing aids. I’m sad to hear that that new app broke connectivity with so many options.

So why not just reinstall the older version and you’ll be able to use your streamer 2.
For your Bluetooth issues you’d need to have some adjustments, including on your phone, correct domes if your lacking Bass etc
As for support its hit and miss from all of them unfortunately, I hope you get satisfaction with Phillips models.

I don’t know about Android, but if it’s an iPhone app, rolling back to a previous app version has never been possible. Once the process of updating the app has begun, the old version is lost to that device forever. There are countless iPhone and iPad users who would love to be able to roll back disastrous major version “upgrades” to SiriusXM and Sonos apps but can’t do it. (See Most Recent App Store reviews for SiriusXM and Sonos: “old version worked fine, new version is unusable, please bring back old version.”)

Unless you’ve backed up on iCloud, before updating the App. I’ve had to revert to an old back up due to an App misbehaving.

My brother had to help me tho as I wasn’t sure how to do it.

Oh that’s terrible, android free and open, just a APK file, so for iPhone users looks like another “update” will be required to fix unless you’ve done the iCloud backup mentioned.

I have a Samsung S20+. Can i roll my app back one update? Tnx

Yes you can, just need to get the older version APK, look around on Google to find lots of websites, like APK Pure etc

Thanks. I will give it a try. I just had some surgery so might be a few days till i reply.

Sure no problem, take care.

I can report similar issue. I’ve had the Nexia HAs for about 6 months and a Streamer 2. The Streamer 2 pairs with the HAs, but the only way to make the connection was through the Smart 3D app. When streaming is available, the devices you can connect to appear at the bottom of the Smart 3D home screen. A ‘Devices Available’ tab would appear and you could choose between three devices.

After the latest app update (3rd week of August?) the Available Devices tab has disappeared.

I contacted Resound tech support and they’ve said my Audi can change a setting so I can make the connection between the HAs and the Streamer 2 with an HA button press, but my audi hasn’t been able to find such a setting for the Nexia.

She’s short handed suddenly and I’m patiently waiting for her efforts to get support from Resound. In the meantime I’m burning through my phone data plan streaming directly from my phone.

If there’s a resolution I’ll post back.
