Even with a sound profile that turns off all cellphone audio, I am unable to prevent ringtone through my aids while
using Easy Line Remote. Turning off BT is an option, but prevents adjustment via Easy Line.
I think you should be able to just pair to the phone with the app but not for calls and streaming.
The EasyLine app uses BT-LE, whereas streaming audio from the phone to the hearing aids uses regular BT. You don’t have to disable BT altogether or unpair the aids: simply disconnect the right hand aid (assuming that is the one used for streaming – as it is by default, unless the HIS has chosen the left hand one for some reason).
