Target 8 file question

Does anyone know the name of the file that houses the HA configurations for each session? I would like to back up that file. Thanks

Pretty sure it’s just the Target software?

Thanks, but it’s got to be somewhere in the software. If I loose my computer (crashes) I can reinstall Target but don’t want to have to figure out the settings. There must be a file in the Target 8 Program settings or program data that contains that information. Hoping that someone will know the name of the file.

In Target you can export the database for each customer.

  • select/highlight the customer
  • then click on “File” in the menu (Top/left)
  • choose “export”
  • type a name for your save file and choose an location where you want to save the exportet data.

Later the saved export can be imported again via: File → import

This procedure have to be done for each customer in the Target database.

See here, how to save the complete “Target Database Folder” for creating a backup of the complete Database with all customer entries

The Target Database is saved in the folder “Data” located at:
C:\ProgramData\Phonak\Phonak Target\Phonak Target\Data

You need to copy/backup the folder “Data” with its content.

Note: Under Windows standard settings the folder “ProgramData” is hidden.
You need to change the Folder Options to show hidden system files and folders !
