Starkey DIY Programming - PatientBase

A question on DIY programing using Inspire -

I have loaded Inspire with the PatientBase and have no problem doing the programing on Inspire, but when I open the session, it asks me for a PatientBase User Name and Password. Do you know how I get or set those up DIY other than applying to Starkey for them? When I advance past that screen without filling in that information I get a message “You have chosen not to sign in to PatientBase. If you do not sign in you can still program normally, but will not be able to save or retrieve sessions”. Does this mean I can continue programming but can save only that session on the aids, just not in the Database? How can I save all sessions? Thanks.

Patientbase is a no-questions-asked download. But when I switched to Windows 11, something got fouled up and none of the versions would install. This is with Inspire 2022.1

Starkey Patient Database 2015 - Replaced by newer versions

Starkey Patient Database 2015 no longer works. The 2015 version was being used to run all past and current releases of Starkey Inspire. UPDATE: It doesn’t matter that the old version of Starkey Patient Database 2015 is no longer supported. You can use the newer versions of Starkey’s Patient Database. I’ve tested Audika from a Dutch chain and they were rebranded Oticons.

Though, it doesn’t mean they we’re always Oticon.

Nope, it doesn’t. However, that was 4 years ago, a rebranded Oticon OPN 1. They didn’t just switch over either. So, I wouldn’t think there’s much info in maintaining Audika in such a list.

Well, let’s say that I agree with you. Because I do! But it’s not me who is providing the capability, it’s Starkey.

I tested each one of those rebrands (though it was a while ago) to make sure it came up with that version of fitting software. It did.

Occasionally ppl do want to program old obsolete junk, so I don’t see any point is disabling it because it’s old?? Also there are some other rebrands in that list are rarely used.

Okay, Okay, I changed the Menu to
4 = Audika (French/Francaise) before Audika sold to Oticon

to help differentiate that older/legacy Audika hearing aids are Starkey,
and the newer/current Audika hearing aids are Oticon.
