Speech to text apps

I have a reverse cookie bite hearing loss. My current question is: I am wondering what speech to text app might be useful. I’m hoping for something to have at the ready for this meeting I"m attending in a room with terrible acoustics. My jabra HAs work well except in these kinds of conditions… any recommendations are appreciated. thanks

I used LiveTranscribe, during a recent hospital stay it was a great help. Hard to remember to focus on reading the screen rather than looking at the speaker. It would depend on being close to the speaker so that nearby noise is reduced is reduced…
good luck, Nancy

If you have an iPhone, try the app named NALscribe.
It was created by an Australian government hearing institute.and is free.

NALscribe is very good, it’s a wrapper over Live Captions.
The Live Caption UX/UI is awful.
NALscribe mostly eliminates the flaws of Live Captions.

Revising my review:
This app seems to require Internet access to function. No recording could be done while in a cellular dead zone.
The private ‘keep data on your phone’ feature doesn’t seem to work. When this is toggled on, no recording occurs.
