Just a quick update, I have had the Phonak Audio Infinity for a couple of months now and started having problems with hearing through my right ear. I initially thought it was an ear wax problem and started olive oil and home irrigated the ear a couple of times. No sign of ear wax now, but still cannot hear in the right ear. As a test I tried the left hearing aid in my right ear and vise versa. I could hear some now in my right ear ( the settings are lower in my left ear) and nothing in my right ear. So it is back to Specsavers again tomorrow. I also find that the noise cancellation in busy places is very good. I read on here somewhere about a separate program needing to be turned on, but I cannot find it now. I will continue looking and see what Specsavers have to say. The aids don’t turn programs automatically apart from streaming

It turns out that the receiver was broken so that was replaced. Specsavers had missed turning something in the original fitting. The spheric function wasn’t working. I previously had the automatic program and three others. I now have seven programs. The difference in quality in sound is unbelievable. I would guess that the AI chip wasn’t activated
