Are size 13 and P13 same, and or interchangeable? I use size 13 for my ReSound hearing aid; will need to get a replacement soon and was looking for them at a nearby store but I was told they don’t have the exact size 13 but a P13 which according to them, is the same.

To be more specific, I use Widex size 13 batteries. The one they showed me is PowerOne size P13.

Any advice please!!

Size 13 is the same size regardless of the manufacturer.

Agreed @tenkan, but I always associated 13 batteries, as P13, I have no idea what the “P” stands for though? I have distributed thousands of these whilst working with Deaf Services, alongside 675’s, 312’s & 10’s, but the “P” intrigues me, I will Google it… :upside_down_face:

Edit; The P is type of Designation from PowerOne manufacturer they use for P10, P13, P312 and P675. Gospel according to Google… :smile:

I think it is a desire to get users to desire/believe that only the “p” version is acceptable/usable. Exclusivity desired. Even if not truly necessary or useful. This happens a lot in marketing for commodities.
