Self-programming Widex Moments with a Mac?

Is it possible to self-program Widex Moments using an Apple computer?

Hi there, yes its possible using bootcamp or other virtual machine software to install Windows, but you’ll still need the Noahlink Wireless programming device for your DIY projects, some Mac users just find it easier to buy a cheap win10 laptop just for programming their HA’s.

Be aware that the newer Apple Macs with ARM processors (M1 , M2) could not be used for self-programming because there is no driver for this processor architecture. And therefore the Noahlink Wireless will not be working with the Apple Macs with ARM (M1 , M2 processors).

In the forum you can find more infos about this

For self-programming you need an Apple Mac with Intel Core processor and install Bootcamp+Windows 11

Or buy any Windows PC with Intel Core or AMD Ryzen processor.

Chromebooks with ARM processors could not be used , same issues as with Apple M1 (ARM) → no driver for Noahlink Wireless available for this processor types !

Just best to get the information from Himsa. Any pc running ARM has this issue,
