Roger On firmware upgrade

I have the Roger On v2. I am well aware v 3 is available.

I thought I read somewhere that if the firmware of the Roger On v2 is upgraded it will the have the same features/benefits of the v3 device.

Can anyone confirm or refute?

Functional changes yes, ability to shoot licenses like a western, I don’t think so. Even the v1 gets everything except the headset/online calling mode when you upgrade.

I thought the only difference between V2 and V3 is the unlimited receivers in V3. Nothing else?

There is a difference between V1 and V2 but trying to understand the difference between V2 and V3.

Am I wrong?

V3 also is reported t o have a better finish to resist scratches, otherwise i believe you are correct. But even V1 and V2 can provibe several extra license which we now know thanks to your research. Thanks again for that!

My old v1 is usb-c. The first device I ever received with usb-c. Both the mic and the dock take usb-c. Same for the new v3.

Mine is also USB-C, charging is very fast. After utilizing the license, I could download another 3 licenses again in the Roger upgrader via internet.
