I have an iPhone 16 Pro. Connecting Bluetooth to use the app for Resound is horrific. It can take an hour or repeated varied steps. Resound support claims that it is an Apple problem with iCloud??? What has iCloud or for that matter, internet connectivity got to do with LOCAL BT? They wanted me to make a separate iCloud account JUST for my phone and no other device. So, there is the cost of a separate iCloud account added to the LOSS of all the value of having a cloud account to have other devices share data etc. So they reduce my iPhone usability to a ReSound I/F only??? Another bright idea was to close every APP on my phone like it is JUST a Resound I/F. Where do these stupid work arounds even come from? There is ZERO reason that they should need internet to connect BT.
