Reshaping thin tubes to fit

My thin tubes are the right length but did not lay as flat as I liked. A little research found that in order to keep their shape the tubes must be carefully heated. Well if you are brave, a 100 watt light bulb works perfect. Shape only one curve at a time. Try to hold the curve you want with 2 fingers approx. 1/4" to 1/2" from a warm bulb for no more than 10 - 15 seconds… Be careful not to touch the hot bulb! The tube will cool and hold the new shape within a few more seconds. I have done this myself and it is easy and it works.
I hope this helps someone.

I reshape tubes by heating a cup of water in the microwave for 90 seconds, then dipping the bend in the water for a few seconds, then holding the tube in the shape I want it to assume until it cools off.
