Can you post the dimensions of the OEM battery so I can compare what is available now?

Here is a link to the FCC test report has photos and dimensions of the OEM battery, which is that battery that I have. The part number is derived from the size, 4.5 mm x 17 mm x 30 mm.

I have never ordered from Ali Express. I got batteries from eBay.

By the way, I recently got Philips hearing aids to replace my Oticons, so I no longer use my ConnectClip. I do have the very similar Philips AudioClip. I hope not have to replace its battery because my new aids stream directly from the phone, so I will not use the AudioClip much.

Can you not order a correct dimension replacement battery from Oticon then?

Unfortunately those that had tried just get told ā€œto hard or unrepairableā€ buy a new one.
