Phonak L90 bluetooth latency?

Maybe set up a switch in the electrical power feed to the streamer? If you shut that off you should revert to automatic in about a second.

Thanks michael1 and WhiteHat.

I’ll try the long press first, if not interrupting the power. Anything to keep me off the phone. The last thing the audience wants to see is the entertainer using the phone. They will probably think I’m texting or something unrelated to my job

Thank you, Michael. That works, and when the music plays, it automatically switches back to the TVC again.

Right now, the best setting seems to be sliding the slider about 3/4 of the way to the TV side, and supplementing it with the 15W monitor.

With the slider set towards mostly TVC it eliminates a lot of the room noise, which allows me to listen at a lower volume (sometimes the audience noise is around 75-80dba).

The TVC must be set for speech, as it doesn’t have a lot of low frequency components. So I on the monitor, turn the treble all the way down, and the bass all the way up. That fills in the rest of the sound.

It’s not a perfect solution, as now I have tow monitor systems to set up, and It doesn’t work as well as in-ear monitors, but it’s much better than either the TVC or the Monitor alone.

And unlike in-ear-monitors, it doesn’t block me out from the audience. In a duo, with the audience within talking distance from their tables, it’s important to be able to respond.

I’ve been gigging since I was in junior high school, and for most of my adult life, it’s been my primary source of income. Besides for that, I really, really love to perform. It’s the most fun I can have with my clothes on, This solution will extend my gigging life by allowing me to hear the pitches (I sling too) at a low volume that won’t hurt my ears.

Another follow up.

I find that if we are playing quietly, with not crowd noise, using just the monitor is fine. But when it gets noisy, adding the TVC helps a lot.

Today, it was cloudy and windy and threatening rain. We only had about 30 people, and we stated at about 75dba average. Wednesdays are usually packed, but the weather and Christmas shopping had its effect.

We take them day by day, as long as the club still likes us (and they do) we have job security.
