I don’t think this has to do with the Genie 2 software. It’s most likely something going on with the MFI connection between your iPhone and the Real aids. I would recommend unpairing the Real aids from the MFI connection and re-pairing to see if it helps.
Another place to check and try something is the Media Audio Routing and Call Audio Routing in your iPhone’s MFI settings. If you have it on Automatic, try to change it to Always Hearing Devices to see if that helps. Automatic should work in theory, but if there’s some kind of contention or interference going on, the iPhone may switch the routing back and forth for some reason.
