Oticon Intent airplane mode

Hello,

I would like to get some information regarding the Oticon Intent 1 hearing aid, which I haven’t been able to find anywhere.

I currently use a pair of Oticon More 1 devices, and I’m able to activate airplane mode by holding down the lower button for 7 seconds.

Is this “airplane mode” feature also available on the Oticon Intent 1, considering it only has a single button?

Yes. I just tried it with my Intents. I was disconnected from bluetooth and the app but I could hear as normal. Pressing the lower down volume key for 7 seconds after this then restores the connection.

My zi ask why? I have flown ans never even had the requirements for placing my aids in airport mode. I have als went through security at a court house that i was allowed my phone oe smart watch but my aids were fine.

I rarely use Bluetooth, and I don’t want to be bombarded with waves when I’m not using it.

You must not have the hearing loss that I have depend on my connectivity just hear a phone call. I use it for streaming audiobooks, text messages. I use the Oticon extras for meetings, and when in the courtroom I use the Bluetooth and my EduMic to hear what is being said. I cuss Bluetooth at times but i cannot live without it.
