Hi there, great your giving DIY a go it’s all pretty easy enough, do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time.

Hi I am upgrading my OPN S1’s to MORE 1s. Have a NoahLink but have mislaid my copy of Genie 2. Could someone send me a link to a copy please

Hi there, no problem you’ll be up and running again now .

Can i get download for Genie2 as well.
Thanks

Check your PM messages.

Genie2 works on my laptop with Win10 and NOAHlink, but the laptop couldn’t be upgraded to Win11. So I built a new desktop with Win11, and I’m getting accustomed to the new GUI (by the way, you can move the start menu). But now I don’t have Genie2 on the new machine. Seems the program is getting hard to get nowadays. Can someone supply me with a copy? I even looked way back in my Download folder to see if I could find it. And of course, simply copying the Oticon folder doesn’t work, but I had to try… Thanks!

Possibly you need to uninstall first and then copy the files over, but yeah it’s easy enough to just install a fresh copy.

Getting a fresh copy of Genie2 is indeed the problem. Just copying folders over from the Win 10 laptop to the new Win 11 machine only gives error messages, since it wasn’t a proper installation on the new machine.

I’ve done this myself in times past, but always good to keep a backup on a flash drive ; )

So, I guess @tenkan got you sorted?
Yeah, trying to copy files and folders can be tough, and going from w10 to w11 would for sure be an issue.
Fresh install is the only way, and you came to the right place!

Did you try to copy an image of your “c” drive to the new build? I haven’t tried w11, yet, but I’d be curious.
