Oticon ConnectClip

How can I dim or turn off the indicator lights on my Opn ConnectClip?

Indicator lights can’t be dimmed or turned off while powered on.

Bad design decision! Constant ON lights too bright, annoy and attract (mainly unwanted) attention in the dark.

Cut a small piece of electrician’s tape and cover them.

I wear mine (the Rexton version) on a lanyard under my shirt.

Where do you wear it that you can still see the lights?

The only time I see the lights is when I’m charging it overnight on my nightstand. I just keep the indicator end turned away from me and its not a problem.

I wear (wore) my Siemens MiniTek under my dress shirts, which are usually either white or pale blue. The flashing blue indicator light was easily visible under my shirt.

I used “Blackout” tape to cover the lights, leaving one end of the small piece of tape folder over on itself so I could easily lift it to check the light on the rare occasions that I needed to.

Blackout tape looks like black electrical tape, but it’s actually made for auto detailing, and doesn’t leave sticky residue when it gets old.

I’m a little late to this conversation, but if you’re still looking for a solution, check out Light Dims on Amazon. I’ve used these a lot around my house and love them.
