“… Adaptive Leakage Compensation technology … dynamically adjusts the frequency coverage and depth of noise attenuation to cancel out noise which enters the ear directly, bypassing the earbud’s silicone tip. This means that users who find loose-fit earbuds more comfortable to wear for long periods can enjoy the same noise cancellation performance as that of closed-fit earbuds, which plug the ear tightly to provide a physical barrier to ambient noise.”
Neat idea. Wonder what the latency is like i.e. does it tend to only work on long duration constant amplitude stuff (or is that a relic and I am out of my depth?)?
Also some curious marketing speak in there about closed fit earphones being a comfort compromise. Sorry, I have preferred those for 20+ years now. Never had a comfort issue.
