Hi there - I’m hoping this is an appropriate first post. I’ve spent half an hour or so reading threads and posts looking at the difference between Oticon More 1 vs 3 HAs, which is what my audi recommended after a first hearing test last week.

I’m uploading my audiogram here. (Hope it works!)

In short, most of my usage is likely to be in quiet environments and home and in seminar rooms, for which I’m guessing from what I’ve read here the More 3 would likely be sufficient. But the hearing problems I notice most are in noisy environments (pubs, restaurants) and I’m wondering this audiogram indicates a likelihood that it would be worth paying up for the More 1 models…

Any expertise and guidance appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, which model to get us not based on your audiogram as such, more on your lifestyle, so you already know that it’s the features that determines whether you want/need premium or basic, why not go for More 2, this way you get a bit of both.

Welcome to the Forum. The only way to decide which one will work for you is to try them both.

@tenkan 's advice has merit. I was issued More3’s by VAC, but they didn’t have enough input headroom to accommodate my live music playing. I paid $1,500 extra for More1, but that was overkill - More2 would have done me fine.

But you won’t know unless and until you try them …

Ah, thanks! Appreciated.

My new More 2s have been performing well in a noisy, echo-y gym. I don’t have trouble conversing with people there.
