First time HA user, just received my HAs yesterday. Ordered the Audeo Sphere 90s 4 weeks ago. I was told 2 weeks ago that they were delayed and that my color needed to be changed to gray to get them in a reasonable time. When I got to audiologist yesterday, they said that Phonak had sent the Infinio 90 - not the Sphere version that I had ordered, but the Sphere would be coming in 2 more weeks. We agreed that I would go home with the “regular” Infinios to get me started with my acclimation, and then we would switch out the Spheres when they come in. Long story short - I am amazed and thrilled. I have open domes and so the HAs themselves do not change my hearing - if they are off. I tested this. With the Phonak app, I find myself constantly turning the HAs on and off to compare me1.0 vs me2.0. Of course there is the usual “loudness of everything” that I am getting used to, but in general I am thrilled and waited too long to get these.
Unfortunately, due to my lack of experience I cannot compare them with other HAs - except perhaps with the Spheres when they come in. But the BT seems rock solid and today after 12 hours of use (~1 hour streaming/phone) i am at 50% battery.
