How does your employer balance security with ADA compliance? I would talk with HR to see what reasonable accommodations they will provide. It’s worth the time to ask.
As to the concern about visible HAs, nobody really cares. I have a crew cut and have been wearing RICs since 2014. Nobody has cared a bit.
I thought he might be a Bicros candidate because he stated:
“…my left ear is relatively useless so I’ve been living with one useful ear the last couple of years.”
