MyPhonak Remote Setup?

Sorry, one more question a bit off topic @WhiteHat: can you input in Target the configuration files of another HA model and use it for a newer model?

I THINK that it needs to be the same HAs that were seen by noahlink and registered on internet, and the files built for them.

In that case, one would have to manually copy the settings, right?

Or build them with your own noahlink.

Target has an import/export feature, doesnā€™t always work exactly as intended, so sometimes you have to manually copy.

My dispensing Audi fired me politely. He said I needed to find someone who could help me more than he could. (Iā€™m Avoiding a rant.) he erased my hearing aids. Did a quick fit. Said my hearing had improved. I cranked the volume to full. No REM by the way.

I took my latest Audiogram to the wonderful hearing instrument specialist that I see now

He used that Audiogram and did a quick fit. I could hear! Finally. I had owned the haā€™s for2 years. I asked if he found anything wrong with the setup. Two things.

He used the same values and his Noahlink.

So two people did setups. The second one I could finally hear. Both quickfits. In this case. No REM.

The dispensing Audi did quick fit by remote setup?

@Bimodal_user

No. He never used remote setup. MyPhonak has improved a lot in the time Iā€™ve used it. However, I still have much to learn. I want to hear better.

I read quite a few books and watched many videos trying to learn what he was doing wrong. He is a gentleman. His setups were terrible

I appreciate your questions.

Iā€™m interested. I havenā€™t bought noahlink yet either. I have the same concerns
