Yes you can override the automatic mode two ways. The easiest is go to your app and choose the tab for say « calm situation , music or any other programs you have available in the tabs. Another way to override is to use your device buttons. In my device, I press the front button and sort of hold it until it goes to the next program. This way I can change upto 3 or 4 programs. This is handy when your phone is not accessible or you do not want the phone to light up in the dark, e.g a movie theater. The automatic mode contains several programs. You can copy these to your individual tabs (check out other posts on how to do it). The other day I was in a restaurant and the device went into spheric mode and I thought it was an overkill so I overrode it and tried several other programs on my tabs to suit the situation. As the restaurant began to fill up, I switched to automatic using my phone.
