@muse, I don’t think I can answer your question confidently. It sounds like you definitely haven’t exhausted all your options with the Rextons. I got my Nexia/Jabras from Costco and was lucky to have a good audiologist there. I like my HAs, mostly because they support the unique MRIE receiver which has an additional microphone as part of the receiver.
If I was in your situation I would probably give the Rextons a bit more time and go through some more follow-up sessions.

Clearly, I won the lottery in this regard if that’s true and the AI isn’t hallucinating/lying.
Clearly, though, judging from what I experienced and what others have experienced on this forum, and Oticon’s software updates addressing the random rebooting issue on multiple device lines, their quality control department needs a lot of work.
I agree with your math. Yes, AI is notoriously sloppy.
