Markdown Table Examples

#1

If you need to enter information in the form of a Table the following examples were gleaned from this post.

These two examples of markdown code;

**Two column Table:**
 ||**Opn 1**|**Opn 3**|
 :-----:|:-----:|:-----:|
 Balancing power effect |100%|50%|
 Max. noise removal |9dB|3dB|
**Three column Table:**
 ||**Opn 1**|**Opn 2**|**Opn 3**|
 :-----:|:-----:|:-----:| :-----:|
 Balancing power effect |100%|50%|50%|
 Max. noise removal |9dB|5dB|3dB|
 Add more rows |val1|val2|val3|
 And even more |val1|val2|val3|

Will produce these tables;

Two column Table:

Opn 1 Opn 3
Balancing power effect 100% 50%
Max. noise removal 9dB 3dB

Three column Table:

Opn 1 Opn 2 Opn 3
Balancing power effect 100% 50% 50%
Max. noise removal 9dB 5dB 3dB
Add more rows val1 val2 val3
And even more val1 val2 val3

Oh, just a technical note. The two examples of markdown code were entered as preformatted-text. That is, they have spaces in front of each line of code.

This allows the markdown code to be displayed in its original form instead of actually producing a table.

If you wish to copy the markdown code as a template to make your own table then you will need to remove those spaces at the beginning of each line.

Oh, it’s real easy to test or practice. Just start a reply, look at the results, and then cancel the reply instead of posting it.
