Cannot keep them linked to my iphone. A real pain in the a…
anyone else have tis issue and maybe fixed it?
I have Vivia 9 rechargeables paired with my iPhone 12 Pro with IOS 18.6 and the connection is rock solid while the phone is in the same room as me.
One ear or other will sometimes drop connection to the app if I walk well away from the phone for a few minutes. But when I get back I can see the iPhone has reconnected ok, but the app hasn’t. I normally just swipe the app away and reload. But turning Bluetooth off and on again in the phone usually fixes it too. It’s very poor app design that this is necessary.
Are you actually losing connection with them as hearing devices on the iPhone or are you just seeing them as not connected in Jabra app?
My wife and I have had Jabra 30’s for 3 months now and their actual connection (shown as connected Hearing Devices in the iPhone Accessibility settings) is rock solid. I had an iPhone 11 and now an iPhone 16 and my wife has an iPhone 15. Make sure “Optimize MFi connection” is turned off in the Jabra app settings (recommended by our Costco fitter when setting up our Jabra 30s).
When we open the Jabra app we often see a message that they are not connected, but they still are connected as Hearing Devices to the phone. It then can take 30 seconds or so for them to show as connected in Jabra app.
it is the same for me with my samsung android phone
