It also depends on whether the charging is done via metal contacts or via magnetic induction. If the latter, then maybe it’s more forgiving, assuming that all the charging characteristics are the same (big assumption) and fitment is the only issue.
But given that this is lithium ion charging, there’s a danger in using the wrong charger for it may cause things to blow up and you would give the manufacturers deniability on their liabilities if it does cause things to blow up or go bad.
