Is it normal for a hearing aid to cut out in wind?

Trialing a Phonak Marvel M90, which cuts out in wind, then sounds terrible when sound comes back.
Idk if cold also affects the aid??
Is this normal behavior or does this mean the aid is defective??
The ‘wind’ setting is at 18 IIRC.
Thank you, Tom

I had the same problem, told my audi, he fixed it, no problem now. Not sure exactly what he did but he made some changes in the automatic program.

When I was trialling the M90 I found that the wind noise cut after about a second but was fine. I wish my NHS Nathos Auto Micros were the same; the wind noise just stays there.
