Actually, you can make the change just by opening the iOS Phone app just by opening the Phone app, as if you were about to place a call. I happened on the same thing (and used the same screenshots!) — but the screenshots were made with the Phone app open, with no call in progress. In Target 11.1, they offer the option to disable hands-free calling just for the reasons you describe - too much background noise going into the HA microphones while making a call, but most people would have to visit their HCPs to get that not-easily-reversible change undone (or made in the first place). The nice thing about the iPhone switch is that it can be done on a per-call basis, as you wish.
