I went to the audiologist, and she solved the problem. The problem was that my BLU RCU wasn’t set up for Bluetooth communications. The unit was set up for TV, and the program that ran the TV transmitter - which commucates to the BLU RCU via Bluetooth, incidentally - does not work for general Bluetooth device communications.
You have to have the P2 program set up for Bluetooth. The audiologist needs to do this. Once you get this done, you can pair your Bluetooth device to the BLU RCU, be it a cell phone, iPad or other. You can only have one device paired at a time via P2.
So, if you want to use the TV streamer and any Bluetooth device, you need to use two of your programs.
I now have problems with an intermittent wireless connection when walking, as well as general lack of audio quality. I think that I can get the audio quality problem solved with adjustments, but I don’t know what to do about the intermittent natue of the wireless connection.
