How to transfer an existing earlier setup (say 7X) to a new aid (say 7IX) - both noah link - using the Signia app?

HI there, so your talking about the Connexx software right, so there’s the old export/import feature you could use, it probably won’t be an exact copy of the settings but close enough for you to tweak with your Noahlink wireless.

The idea of export settings from one model Signia (1st set) and import to a different upgraded model (2nd set) sounds exactly what I want to do. I can load the fitting setup from client list and session data which has setup data for the 1st HA’s which can be changed and saved. But I dont know how to save that setup data to the 2nd different set, On changing the aids to the new, I dont know the process to access the 1st setup and save it to the 2nd HA’s. The app expects the HA’s to be the same and I think the serial number plays a part here. I looked across the fitting menu but could find an import/export feature. Could you give me more detail as to the process to import from the old/existing (1st HA’s) - save that setup, swap the HA’s and import to the new (2nd HA’s). I looked across the menus including the fitting menu but could find an import/export function. The database holds the old setup (1st set) and there I am at a loss as to the next step.

Hi there, it’s the Connexx software not App, but anyways it’s here, just click on the “File” at the top left here, I’ve never done it myself with this tho.

Next will be to load it into different HA’s

Seems I have an old Connexx. Could you give me the location of the latest version, please.

Loaded the 1st HA’s using the Noah.
Then exported the 1st data to the PC.
Loaded the 2nd HA’s - different model and different serials
Imported the 1st HA’s data. On looking at the fitting, the data is for the 2nd HA’s.
The export and import function only apply to the data file Surname, name and DOB of the client.
It does not seem to be possible to use the export/import to update the 2HA;s with the data from the 1st HA’s
The import/export function is used to transfer the client data probably from one pc to another preserving the data associated with a client and the sessions or to create a backup of client data
However, I will test further as there should be a method to reinstall client data to new HA’s, for example if the HA’s were lost or damaged and needed replacing.

All very interesting, yeah I’ll have another look around in Connexx as well, one would think this would be straight forward, otherwise you’ll have to everything manually!

Yeah.Re-install - though there should be a way to either update a new set or transfer to a new set of HA

The backup/restore function is there to backup any or all client data and to restore it.
I would suspect there may be a function to copy client data from one HA to a different HA.
This would be an easy tool for non professionals who dont go via a shop. I wonder if that would that be a hidden menu? Version 12.0.277 is released but mainly for the IX
