I experimented with my Phonak Audeo Paradise P90R’s and the APP.
I stashed them; walked away until I’d gone a way.
Turned on myPhonak App. They had disconnected; couldn’t be found.
Backtracking I walked towards them…and got contact according to the APP. This wouldn’t be good enough outside; however, it would allow me to know they were there. And I would hunt carefully.
It may really help in my house; I could find out which floor they were on with careful searching. And I could findwhich room they were in. But I would have to pen my puppy up in case he found them first. Strong jaw on that Springer Spaniel.
Recently, Phonak upgraded the MyPhonak app. I got a notification that I can now use the widget. I believe they read my thread because I mentioned it in the first post. There are two widgets, a larger one where you can change programs, volume and other small things. I use android, I don’t know about iphone. Update the MyPhonak app, and then click on display settings and find the option for widgets. There at the bottom are two widgets named “myphonak”.
I haven’t tested it enough to see how it works. Tell us your impressions
Apart from space issues in the screen, its way to slow, using the app is much better and faster, I just removed them and using the app, nice feature, but not very any better then pushing the buttons on my ha’s, on the app I can go from the first program to the last custom in one click, can’t do that with widgets
It is possible to do it, but you need to install the appropriate Launcher. Not all launchers allow placing widgets on the lock screen. I haven’t tested it yet, but I know that my old Asus smartphone allowed it, and now I can’t do it with Xiaomi because it wasn’t made to function like that.
Ah okay, i too have Xiaomi M9 with the standard MIUI.
I have Phonak Naida M , and Oticon Real , and both Apps installed on the Xiaomi M9.
With the MyPhonak App i could not find out how to stick the widget to the lock screen.
But the Oticon companion App is showing the widget automatically on the lock screen.
