If there is new firmware for my oticon opn 1 how do I get it and how do I install it?
Hearing Instrument Firmware Updates are done using Oticon’s fitting software as follows;
Genie 2 / Tools / Open Oticon Firmware Updater
Though, you (or your audiologist) will need a wired programming device, cables, and flexstrips because Oticon Opn Firmware Updates cannot be performed using a wireless programming device.
I’d hang on for Opn 6.0, it will be out in a couple of months.

Slap your Audi upside the head! Or, if you have copious amounts of spare time and if you are technically inclined, then learn how to do Self-Programming.
A Few fixes, better stability during comms etc.
It will be on Genie 2 2018.x, that gets released in the Autumn with all the ITE versions.
