I don’t think anyone on the forum is doing DIY on CI, it’s all pretty hard stuff to come by.
CI programming is very simple, even simpler than hearing aid programming

I’m guessing since “Soundwave” is cloud-based, it does login-style licensing with an AB server. I doubt anyone will risk drawing the wrath of AB, and thus potentially losing the ability to treat their clients.
