How to switch phone call from hearing aid back to smartphone?

I really like receiving calls direct to my Phonak I70 R. However, sometimes I really need for the call to continue in the phone (Galaxy S23Ultra) where I can turn on the speaker for my wife to participate in the call. Can I make that change without dropping the call, and how?

By going in to the Bluetooth settings and disabling Bluetooth. Or possibly the phone app has a way to switch between the hearing aids and the phone speaker

I have a Pixel 6a.
On the phone screen during the call I can choose where I want the sound to go.
Hearing aids, speaker, ear mic.
During the call it will show where the sound is routed.
If it shows hearing aids i simple press on the symbol and up pops hearing aids, speaker and ear mic.
I simply tap which one I want the sound to go to.

Thanks everyone. Sounds simple. I’ll just have to look at my phone screen.

Disable Bluetooth settings on your phone. :grinning:

Alternatively, the phone app can switch between the hearing aids and the phone speaker.

On a Samsung Galaxy; pull down from the top and there will be a media output button. Tap it and then choose phone or HAs as you so choose.
