Hi Everyone,

I bought some Resound Dot hearing aids, which are now out of guarantee, and things have moved on, I have been using new NHS hearing aids for a while as recommended by my GP over the Dot’s, they have been very good, but are rather large and a bit unsightly with the traditional ear moulds, that at the time were thought to be superior to the open fit on my Resound Dot hearing aids …

I have a new job assessment and interview coming up, so would like to find an audiologist, or someone with the skills in LONDON and equipment to check and fine tune the Resound Dot hearing aids for me please…

Could anyone please advise me as to who and how they would be available to program them for me, I have a recent audiogram that the NHS kindly provided for me, so no hearing test would be required.

I will pay a fee for programming of my Resound Dot’s can anyone please advise the going rate and procedure, as I need them programmed in a hurry for my job assessment and interview.

Any replies will get my home and mobile number to arrange a consultation, asap please…

Many Thanks

I have found a few Audiologists around London who generally will reprogram digital Hearing Aids bought from other suppliers for a fee of around £69.

It sounds good to me, but if anyone else has suggestions, please reply to my thread!

Someone here must surely have done this, as a practitioner or as a wearer.

OK I have made a home visit appointment with an Audiologist who is certified with the HPC (Health Professions Council) and also with BSHAA (British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists).

I will post back on how it goes

London in UK or London in Canada?

London UK as she already wears nhs aids.

Yes it’s London UK, still open to offers just in case this one falls through, as I have the assessment on Friday, so it’s looking pretty tight now, anyone?

Sorry I can not find why it is obvious that is UK? Nothing on google says it is UK based:confused:

I believe NHS is part of the national health service in the UK that provides hearing aids.

I agree, though that London Ontario is much closer to the US than London UK.
