Here are my ‘Custom Program’ settings exactly as they appear in the Target software where they are found under upper tab ‘Fitting’, lower tab ‘Fine Tuning’ bottom tab ‘Program Options’ as follows:

Hearing Aid Microphone – this is the one that sets the HA microphone’s directionality
• Target software requires SET AT (12) as required to change ‘Dynamic noise manager’
• Default is (4)
• My custom program set is at 12 (Fixed directional)
Dynamic noise manager – only active in noisy environments
• Default is (0)
• Custom set is (20) Strong
Speech boost – Optimizes soft speech for quiet
• Default is (14) Moderate
• Custom set is (0) Off
• Note: If someone is traveling with me in the truck, I re-set this to (20) Strong
Feedback manager –
• Custom set is (20) Strong
• Can’t be changed if ‘threshold over-tuning is active’ (mine is)
Impulse manager – reduces sudden loud noises, like doors slamming
• Default is (8), Weak is (6)
• Custom set is (20) Strong
Noise manager – reduces uncomfortable environmental noise while maintaining audibility
• Default is (8), Weak is (6)
• Custom set is (20) Strong
Soft noise reduction – reduces soft input noises like A/C, fans, dish washer etc.
• Default is (0)
• Custom set is (20) Strong
Wind manager – suppresses wind noise
• Default is (16) Moderate
• Custom set is (20) Strong
