Found a directional mic

I have been looking for a good plug-in mic for my Phonak Compilot 2. Everything I’ve tried has been too hot, picking up everything in the area, even some picked up traffic outside.

I finally found a noise limiting directional lapel mic. Everyone says it sounds much better. I was in the car with A/C on, and on a call with my wife. She said she really didn’t hear any background noise. Finally!

It is a ts mic so you will need an adapter because the Compilot 2 likes only trs mics. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, Google “ts, trs, trrs connectors”.

The adaptor:

There are a lot of excellent pro-audio lavalier mics, but again you’d probably need an adapter of some kind, or a soldering iron.
