hi there, am using the small power domes from resound, and have used others from various other manufacturers. all the ‘small’ ones feel too large.
does anyone know if, and where, i can get extra small domes on line?

I always check with Amazon.
Most of the time they have what I want.
I know they sell a pack of domes with different sizes.
Never hurts to check.
Just use the name of your aid in the search.
Have you discussed this with your audiologist? Power domes require a tight fit and, if the smallest one don’t work for you, maybe the best option is to get custom molds.
Maybe try cutting off a tiny bit of the silicone ‘umbrella’ from your current domes to make them slightly smaller.
But I also agree with @OcramSagev, power domes are supposed to provide a good seal, you don’t want to compromise that!
thanks guys… appreciated.
i did have coustom moulds, but though well fitted (my audiologist is terrific), i don’t like how they feel, that sort of something sticking in your ear ;-)).
i do have unusally small canals in my ears, and even the regular small size dome can feel too tight. i simply wanted to see if there was such a thing as ex small - i see some listed on commercial websites, but i really don’t want to order any without knowing if THEY are any small than i’m used to.
my audio. is 200km away, so that’s not worth the trip. btw. adjustments (when rarely needed) are done remotely
stay well.
i might try cutting the skirt on a pair, both lengthwise, and width. can’t really do any harm…
Signia has extra-small domes that are tapered.

thanks, just what i was looking for.
i asked chatgpt if they’d fit, but apparently not? does anyone have any experience with this combination
If you are close to Costco, ask for the XS sleeve for the Rexton Reach @ the hearing center. They give domes without asking your name (no fee)
I pretty sure they will fit. I’ve tried it the other way around, using Resound domes on Signia HAs and that worked just fine.
for the cost, i suppose it’s worth a gamble
my nearest costco is 500km away ;-(
Also, if you try cutting, don’t cut length-wise. That will effectively turn your power domes into tulip domes, which have different acoustic properties.
Regarding Costco, my Costco does look up my name. When I wanted to try domes from another manufacturer, the audiologist had to authorize it. The front desk lady wasn’t allowed to just hand out different domes.
Here is a close-up from one of my cutting attempts - I wanted to achieve something in between small and medium, and I was happy with the result:
hadn’t thought of that - domes to tulips. i did try tulips; they felt very comfortable, but as you note, they sounded different.
That’s interesting - They don’t have audiologists @ Costco here (I’m in California) and the fitters are overloaded, 2 months wait for appointments. They are super nice, never ask questions.
well i got some:
just the ticket - way more comfortable than even the smallest power domes. fit the nexia the same way, and are nowhere near as itchy.
thanks
I’m glad I was able to help !
