Hello,
The size dome is important, The quality sound?
I use the power L.
I think the best size of the dome is one that fits nicely and securely in your ear without giving you any feedback. Probably a power dome for your loss, but the size depends how big your ear canal is.
But the size not interfered the quality sound?
The type yes, the size no. Alright ?
The size doesn’t matter providing it fits well and does not give you any feedback.
A different fit can give a different acoustic result. A tighter fatter dome may, for example, give more base. The prescription should be adjusted with a new fitting type-with Widex the sensogram should be run every time the fit is changed to accommodate this.
If one needs a power hearing aid, a custom mold will likely work best.
If the dome is the right size for your ear and the correct type for your kind of hearing loss, it should not affect sound quality much; in fact my experience with the correct “dome” (well, I use vented click sleeves instead of domes, but it is the same concept) enhanced my hearing experience. What I mean is that a different dome may give you a different quality or quantity of sound, but the right one will give you the best sound without interfering with the overall quality of your hearing.
Just remember tho, when you change to a different type, you should rerun the acoustics in the programming software, including feedback measurements for a good fit.
