Based on your audiogram, your HCP will prescribe either open fit , or closed fit domes, or custom earmolds with appropriate venting.
The fit of the custom earmolds in your canals is akin to IEMs.

It can be a “crap shoot” going to a qualified audiologist also. I’ve had some shockers in my years… That’s long before Costco came to Australia. You will find good, bad and plain jolly awful in both sides of the industry.
I would recommend at least trying hearing aids. You can always return them as required by law. I had slightly less hearing loss than you 2 years ago and noticed a difference that improved things.
Now I have mild to moderate hearing loss similar to your Cookie Byte and those frequencies can affect your ability to understand spoken language.
Costco isn’t a bad idea either, I am currently using their KS 10.0s and they are essentially rebranded Phonak Paradice p90rt.
Hope this helps
