I’ve just put my older audiogram back into Phonak Target and compared it against Oticon Genie. Audiogram was before I lost all my hearing completely.

Difference between Phonak and Oticon.

Oticon has higher MPO values compared to Phonak. This is using the same fitting formula NAL 1.

I’m now wondering if that is why I got on well with Oticon over Phonak and why I could hear more with Oticon.

I’m also considering switching to Oticon, I have to buy a test pair.

Oticon seems to have more power in the highs compared to Phonak as well. This is comparing Phonak Naida UP and Oticon Xceed UP.
