Would anyone recommend custom ear molds for my loss?
Domes can cover your loss. However, you may find a reason to prefer molds. That’d be a personal choice. Fit or comfort being the criteria to use.
I would prefer molds with a small vent rather than closed domes. If you can wear open domes you might want to consider that. The sound quality with molds with a vent will be similar to closed domes but much more comfortable.
Mine are soft, small molds that cannot be seen from the outside, and are fit very deep, which I recommend for occlusion and comfort (you will probably have to ask for that).
