Hello,
Can Connexx 6 work in a network sharing one database for multiple clients?
How to install it to work on a network?

If it’s not the right place to post this question, where can i get help?

Thank you!

Perhaps with NOAH software? There are likely people on the forum (likely providers who work in large or perhaps even chain type audiology practices) who can give a more definitive answer. Why Connexx 6 instead of a more modern version (I think 9 is the latest?)

Thank you! I’m trying to help users of CONNEXX 6 and CONNEXX 8 having a lot of troubles due installation.
They can’t share the CONNEX 6 and CONNEX 8 data, and they work in only one computer, and can’t work in network. So i’m investigating how to install over a network and if it’s possible to share data across CONNEX 6 and CONNEXX 8…

Thank you, i’m installing Connexx6 and it installs and connect the database locally. What is NOAH software?

Google is your friend.

You don’t need to install NOAH software to use connexx, just install in standalone mode and then use the undater to download the latest version.

The OP is trying to set up a network.

Still Noah’s not needed for networking, there are other ways to this.
Mind you I don’t see the reasoning for the OP doing it? Remote access maybe?

I’m installing connexx 6 it its working ok in standalone mode. The database is installed locally. How to install it on another computer and connect to the same database?

You can gain remote access to your friends PC and you could then make adjustments on the fly, you can also export the client base from your friends PC and then import to your PC, I can’t say for sure this would work but worth a try.

Export and import is not an option, the computers are in a LAN and we want to share the database across Connexx clients. I dont know how to tell Connex to use the database installed on another computer.
