Just got my new S1-R aids and it’s the first set with bluetooth. Hi we are they supposed to work in the car with my iPhone? My hearing aids are paired with my iPhone and sound is normally through my hearing aids. My car is also paired with my iPhone. When using Google maps, the prompts came through my hearing aids. If I get a call, should that instead default to the car bluetooth so I don’t have to talk into the phone?
Yes when in my car it defaults to the car audio system

There is a setting within your phone where you can set preferences for Audio Routing
If you search for Audio Routing you can set
Always Hearing Devices, Never Hearing Devices, Automatic
You may have “Always” set
